Safety & Bans
Will my Reddit accounts get banned?
No — if used correctly. DealHunter drives real Chromium browsers with stealth patches, human-like mouse curves, typing delays, and per-account personas. There's no API abuse, no fingerprint collisions, and every session uses a dedicated residential proxy. Accounts that run their full 7-14 day warmup have <5% ban rate over 6 months in our tests.
How do you avoid CAPTCHAs and shadowbans?
Multiple layers: (1) stealth plugin patches ~15 headless browser tells, (2) TLS fingerprint matches real Chrome exactly, (3) shadowban detector runs every 6 hours checking unauthenticated Reddit API — banned accounts auto-retired, (4) circuit breaker pauses all activity if CAPTCHA rate > 10% in any hour.
What happens if an account gets banned?
The shadowban worker detects it within 6 hours, marks the account 'banned' in the DB, and the master agent stops enqueuing sessions. You get a Telegram alert. Your other accounts continue running normally — no cascading failure.
Do you use my existing Reddit accounts?
Yes! Add them via the dashboard. If they already have karma, they skip warmup and can start replying immediately. Session cookies are persisted — no re-login needed.
How it works
How does DealHunter find leads?
Agents scan the /new feed of your niche subreddits every 6 hours. Each post title is matched against 60+ keyword patterns (customizable). Matching posts open in a real Chromium browser, the AI reads the full body + comments, then writes a reply if the context is genuinely a good fit for your product.
How is this different from Reddit API tools like PRAW?
Reddit's API is heavily throttled (60 requests/min), monitored, and API keys get revoked for automation. Our real-browser approach passes all bot-detection layers (JA3 hash, WebGL, canvas fingerprint), never touches the API, and can post/vote/scroll like a normal user.
What makes the replies actually helpful?
Google Gemini 2.0 Flash reads the full post context, understands the poster's specific problem, and writes a genuinely useful reply — with your product mentioned only if it's a natural fit. Every reply passes a spam filter (no URLs, no 'DM me', no self-promotion patterns) before being submitted.
Can I control what my agents say?
Yes. You define: niche keywords, product name + description, reply tone, subreddits to target, subreddits to avoid, minimum karma to reply, daily reply caps. Agents follow this configuration strictly.
Pricing & Plans
Is there a free trial?
Yes — 14 days on any paid plan, no credit card required. We also have a Free tier (1 account, 3 replies/day) that never expires.
Can I change plans anytime?
Yes. Upgrades are instant. Downgrades take effect at the end of your billing cycle. Cancel anytime — no lock-in contracts.
Do I need to bring my own Reddit accounts?
For the best results, yes. Aged accounts (3+ months old with some karma) skip warmup and start earning immediately. New accounts also work but require the full warmup phase.
Do I need my own proxies?
On Growth and Scale plans, we handle proxies for you. On Starter, you'll need to bring your own residential IPs (BrightData, Smartproxy, etc.). We provide setup guides.
Product & Team
Can multiple team members access the same account?
On the Scale plan, yes — 5 team seats included. Growth and Starter are single-user. Each team member gets their own Clerk login but shares the same tenant's accounts and data.
Do you offer white-label for agencies?
Enterprise plan only. Contact us for custom branding, sub-accounts, and per-client dashboards.
What's the tech stack?
Node.js + TypeScript workers, PostgreSQL 15 (with row-level security for multi-tenancy), Redis Cluster, Playwright/Chromium in Docker, Kubernetes-native. Next.js 15 dashboard with Clerk auth. Fully self-hostable if you're on the Enterprise plan.
Is my data private?
Yes. PostgreSQL row-level security enforces tenant isolation at the DB level — physically impossible for another customer to see your data. Redis keys are tenant-prefixed. SOC 2 compliance in progress.
